Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No, you don't have to. The quoting process needs just six data points: your gender, birth date, your health rating (in your own words), tobacco consumption, the protection level you're seeking, and how many years of coverage. These six pieces give the companies what they need to generate quotes. Your identity, mailing address, and full medical history stay private until you're ready to formally apply.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

What you see are the rates that each insurance company has quoted for the health category you specified. Quotes are provided for reference only. The final amount you actually pay gets determined by the insurance company when they complete their review, which could place you in the same category, a better one, or a different tier. All quotes here are for comparison purposes only and don't guarantee a specific cost.

What happens when I click Apply?

When you click Apply, you move to a protected application already filled with what you shared. This application is hosted by the carriers and asks for the extra details their review process needs. You can save your progress and continue at another time; paperwork is all done online. The Susman Insurance Agency (License 0B75129, licensed in California) oversees your application.

Will I need a medical exam?

That depends on the particular company, your requested benefit amount, and what you reported about your health. Many firms today have fast-track review options where applicants who meet criteria receive approval without an in-person exam. The quote for each product will specify if a medical exam is mandatory, possibly needed, or not required.

Is a longer term better?

The best term matches when your dependents would struggle if your paychecks stopped: years remaining on your home loan, the years your kids need financial support, or scheduled business liabilities. Choosing a longer term raises your monthly cost but keeps the same rate locked in for more years. You can compare costs across 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year periods using the quote tool so you understand the month-to-month expense and protection window trade-off.

Does this site sell my information?

No, we don't. The quote tool doesn't ask for or save your name, email, or phone number. We don't monetize your data, share it externally, run advertising pixels or trackers, or use cookies to monitor your browsing.
